I just got a video of a live show in 1992.
I find no Pearl Jam in the archives, not even on the trade friendly list or the opt-out list.
Can someone tell me if its kewl to upload the show?

pearl jam has not approved of their material on archive.org.

I'd suggest you go to a pearl jam message board and look there for a place to upload it / share it.

Unfortunately they're not yet OK'd for this site. I tried to contact them a while back to ask, but it was too hard to cut through the layers.

BTW, another reply was just a regular troublemaker. Please ignore that. Re "legality" as far as I know, Pearl Jam does allow some fan-fan trading of materials (if not for upload here). I don't know the current extent of what they're fine with though.

The bands website has an update to it "bootleg" section.
It seems they will be recording shows for sale through its fanclub.
But I found nothing as far as fan made recordings. I would think they would stay within normal trade rules with fan recordings, but may push the sbn downloads they will sale.
Both mp3 and flac with a price of other bands that do the same thing.

No - unless we get a formal ok from a band or their management, their performances may not be archived here.
